The Teensy 3.6 & Teensy 4.1 both have optional USB capability - these 5 pin USB host cables will allow you to connect USB devices or a USB hub to your project (you'll also need a little bit of male header to connect it to the Teensy).
This cable can also be used with other devices with a 5-pin USB connector (they're commonly used in PC builds for mounting a USB port on the case).
